Keza has known John since high school and is the reason he was invited on the trip to Whistler. Keza and Kajsa often get their names mixed up even when referring to themselves. While Keza lives in Alberta, whenever they get together, it feels like no time has passed and the friendship picks up where it left off.

Sean is John's youngest sibling and very close friends. They share a love for video games and often play online together despite living in different provinces. Sean is never one for drama and is a breath of fresh air to talk to.

Issac and John met on the trip to Whistler 7 years ago. John immediately felt a kinship with Issac and couldn't imagine this day without him by his side. There has never been a time where John has regretted spending time with Isaac as it’s always been a fun and memorable experience. Mina and Issac are now married.

Shelly is John's sister and the closest in age to him. Shelly has always been there are looked out for her older brother just as much as he did for her. As the only sister, Shelly and John have a special relationship.

Braelynn is Kajsa and John's daughter. She is the light in their lives who surprises them every day with her kindness, her grace, how smart she is, and just how much like John she looks.

Kurt is one of John’s brothers. All the brothers share a love for competitive video games. Though they fought as children as most siblings do, they found common ground and became close. It’s always a thrill to hang out with Kurt.

Juergen Goenneman

Juergen and John met 3 years ago through Free Masonry. Juergen and John have similar levels of humour and are both motorcycle riders. Juergen helped John get the job of his dreams (and Kajsa’s) in August of 2024. Juergen and John enjoy frequent fishing, camping, and inside jokes at work. Since the beginning, John knew that Juergen was the perfect friend.
