It all started with a MATCH button. 

We met in the summer of 2021 for our first date at Havana Rumba, and it was all because Carla loves tacos and margaritas. Marcus then joined Carla for drinks at a local bar with friends and made his mark. By October we both erased our dating profiles. Followed by more dates and time spent together and our families blended. 

While celebrating Carla's birthday in Puerto Rico, Marcus proposed to Carla on November 19th 2023(which is the wedding anniversary of her parents) of course she said yes. Since then its been a swift change to wedding planning.
