Our Story

February 2017, after a Univeristy of Texas basketball game, my parents invited their friend, Jake, to meet us on West 6th St.  Jake had recently moved to Austin from Groves and was living with his mother, Jennifer, and Joy.  Jake and I had not previously met, though he was friends with my parents.  Jake arrived at the Star Bar surounded by all of my family.  My dad and Jake were visiting, when I decided it was time to introduce myself.  We talked about how long he had been in Austin and I offered to show him around.  We've been showing each other around this great big world ever since.  We love to travel, watch sporting events and just hanging out together.  One of my favorite weekends, since I was a kid, is Texas ou weekend.  Once Jake and I started dating it quickly became Jake's favorite weekend too!  This is where 7 years later he proposed to me.  No matter how far we travel, no matter how beautiful the scenery, the Cotton Bowl in early October will forever be our place.
