Kajsa and John met due to a series of unforseen events that led them to be on a group tip to Whistler, Canada with mutual friends. During this trip, John tricked Kajsa into kissing him. The rest was history! They got back from the trip  and essentially moved intogether right away. 

John and Kajsa were adventurous from the start, going on a cruise with his family 7 months after meeting, hiking almost every weekend in the summers, camping as often as possible, and road trips back to Whistler to where it all began. 

They soon started to discuss marriage and the future. This was prompty put on hold when during COVID, they discovered that they were expecting a beautiful little girl. They decided that a marriage was a formality and that they could wait until the child was older and they had more time and the appropriate finances. At the gender reveal, John once again tricked Kajsa and popped the question in front of their friends, family and FaceBook live. 

John and Kajsa now live with their pre-school aged daughter in Surrey, still being adventurous with trips to Alberta, camping in various locations, trips to Vancouver Island and to visit Kajsa's family in the USA. 

They hold so much love for travel, family and adventure are so excited to share this beautiful, life changing event with the most important people that they could think of.
