What started off as a 3 day cruise to Mexico in 2015, turned into a lifetime of fun and adventures for these two. The story on how they met changes depending on who is telling it. But all versions of the story end the same way. Once the cruise was over, they both decided they wanted to see where their story would go, so they decided to start the journey ahead of them and dated long distance for 10 months. Josh living in Oregon and Stela living in California. Knowing that the long distance relationship was not enough for the two love birds, Stela made the hard decision to leave California, her family, friends, and everything she knew and move to Portland to be with the love of her life. As hard as it was for her, and boy was it hard, it was the best decision she's ever made. They lived happily in Portland exploring the city, hiking, and enjoying the food and breweries together for a whopping 6 months, before ( insert dramatic sound affect) Josh accepted a life changing position in ... Can you guess? Starts with a T ends with a Exas. That's right, you guessed it, TEXAS! Texas quickly became home for them, finding the perfect ranch style home together, rescuing and bringing Copper and Emma into their wolf pack, and meeting some amazing friends along the way. On August 4th, 2021 while on a vacation in the Dominican Republic, Josh and Stela went down to the beach to take pictures and he got on his knee and asked Stela if she would spend the rest of her life with him. I am sure you can guess what Stela's response was.. Hell yeahhhh! They spent the rest of the vacation celebrating with friends and couldn't wait to tell their families. Which brings us all to this moment. What better place than to celebrate their wedding with you all in La Romana, a destination that will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
